Bolton Wanderers are subject to a secret transfer embargo, the Bolton Reporter can reveal. This is the latest financial woe to cripple our once proud club as the fans cry out for new, competent owners.
The reason for the transfer embargo is due to the fact that AT LEAST one football creditor has not been paid. This will cause no surprises amongst Wanderers supporters who are sick and tired of the shambolic way in which the club is being run.
The effect of this embargo is that current loanee signings Christian Doidge and Remi Matthews (both with a view to a permanent move) will not be allowed to be registered during this transfer window.
Not only is this completely embarrassing as Bolton Wanderers’ dirty laundry is aired in public, it leaves the aforementioned players in limbo and could even rejoin their former clubs.
The only way out of this mess is for Anderson to sell and quickly.
